Die Tageszeitung (taz for short) is one of the five national daily newspapers in Germany. The website relaunch 2013 is intended to enhance the online presence of the entire publishing offering.

What are we solving?

The relaunch is intended to enhance the online presence of the entire publishing offering. It is the consistent continuation of the online strategy: quality journalism without pay barriers, financed through lively cooperative and participatory approaches.

For example, a new comment function is being introduced that enables members of the taz.de community to have discussions in real time. In the future, registered users will not only be able to get involved directly in the topic, but can also take on a role as a moderator.”

The diverse offering such as taz.shop, taz Panter Preis, taz.lab, taz.café, taz.reisen and more are integrated into the uniform online presence.

The well-known titles published by taz, Le Monde diplomatique and zeo2, also find their place in the new website.

The website takes on a more central role for the entire publishing house.
